SWPPP Development
Developed SWPPP for recycle and demolition facility located in the City of Los Angeles. Provided additional consulting services including disposal of rainwater accumulated onsite and review of existing compliance documents.

CalARP Program Assistance
CTI was contacted to help a local water utility to determine if they were eligible to reduce their California Accidental Release Program (CalARP) status from Level 2 to Level 1. For a process to qualify for Program 1, the following requirements must be met: 1) No public receptors within the distance to the endpoint from worst case release, 2) No accidents with specific offsite consequences within the past five years, and 3) Emergency response activities are to be coordinated with local responders. CTI conducted , a worst-case release scenario analysis for each toxic and flammable substance held above the applicable threshold quantity in the process. It was determined that there was a public receptor within the distance to the endpoint. CTI was able to make recommendations for change in amount of chemical stored or replacement of chemical.

EHS Audit and Program Update
CTI staff conducted an extensive environmental, health and safety audit of a commercial printing company’s operations to determine which regulatory programs they were required to implement. Once identified, CTI was able to developed the following written programs and provided training: Injury & Illness Prevention Plan (IIPP), Hazard Communication, Lock Out/Tag Out, Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP), Machine Guarding. In additional a Hazardous Material Business Plan was created and submitted via CERS to the local CUPA.
