CTI has completed numerous projects across a diverse range of business sectors including both public and private infrastructure clients. Abatement and Demolition of Greenhouse


Owner:  Dept. of Forestry - Pacific SW Station

Sector:   Federal 

 

CTI’s services included the demolition and removal of facilities at the US Forest Service, Pacific Southwest Research Station, in Riverside. Demolition of designated building structures (with foundations, slabs, etc.), other concrete structures, disconnecting and removal of utilities, and removal of any other site features (cinder block wall) Work also included the testing of structures for hazardous materials, remediation, and disposal of all hazardous materials. Removal and disposal of lower transit roof mastic (where greenhouse and adjacent bldg. join) and all windows and caulking/glazing.


Construction and Modernization Program

 

Owner:  LONG BEACH COMMUNITY COLLEGE DISTRICT

Sector:    Education

 

Services Provided: Construction Management for Deferred Maintenance Projects

 

The Long Beach Community College District (LBCCD) consists of over 30 facilities located across 2 campuses, as well as remote sites. There is currently a $770 million capital projects program to further develop and modernize their facilities. CTI is a subcontractor to the Cordoba Bond Management Team as the Facilities Improvement Group. CTI has an onsite team that consists of a Senior Construction Manager, an Assistant Construction Manager, and a Field Engineer. This team works alongside the facilities department at LBCCD sites and manages all deferred maintenance projects, renovations, upgrades, and new construction.

Program Management Support



Project:   I-405 Highway Improvement Project

 

Owner:   Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) 

 

Sector:     Highway

 

 

This is a $1.3 billion dollar widening project for Orange County Transit Authority (OCTA), which includes making improvements to freeway entrances, exits, and bridges adding 11 new sidewalks, 11 new bike lanes, 18+ bridges replaced, and widened, 16 miles improved for a quicker more enjoyable driving experience along the I-405 Highway.

 

 

CTI's role includes underground utility coordination, document controls, administration, and maintaining the master schedule for the project which consists of over 14,000 tasks using Primavera 6 software. CTI provides these services under Parsons.


Industrial Hygiene - Air Monitoring & Hazardous Material Testing

 

CTI is currently supporting multiple projects with Arcadis including hazardous materials sampling for lead-based paint, asbestos containing materials, mercury, and other hazardous substances. The purpose is to develop survey and work plans for abatement at service centers and substations.

 

CTI’s scope also includes 3rd party air monitoring on abatement projects as well as air monitoring on excavation projects to ensure the contractor is complying with environmental regulations with Southern California Edison.
